Inn Colonial Chile

The Inn is named from the street where it is located, in turn, was named in honor of the Chilean fleet anchored in the port of Salvador in 1902.

In the 50´s it was the best point of Salvador. In the cool evenings 's VIP or ordinary people could be found there, as bystanders or walkers al over the Civilização Brasileira bookstore´s sidewalk. Bahian intellectuals exchanged ideas and enjoyed to see the pretty girls on their way Duas Americas´ tea house, at Casas Sloper or just footing through the the streets, facing the São Marcelo Fort, built to protect the city from Dutch and French invaders on the seventeenth century and the Baia de Todos os Santos, with all its beauty.
